Traditional paper towels often slide off the dish, pan, or cup they are covering and get into the food, which defeats the purpose and wastes a lot of paper towels!
To remedy this, the invention is a disposable dish cover that absorbs moisture and allows steam to be released, instead of dripping back onto the food that has been cooked and is cooling off!
But how does it work? The invention is simply placed over a dish in the microwave. Unlike traditional paper towels, the dish cover will absorb moisture and permit steam to be released as the food item cooks. It also protects from germs – especially in an office or public environment – or even bugs and dust in the air. Various sizes are possible.
